1. Warranty Duration & Scope
From the date of original retail purchase, GENMAX (Chongqing Dinking Power Machinery Co. LTD) warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer usage:
- Consumer Applications: Standard one (1) year limited warranty. Premium heavy-duty and flagship inverter models carry an extended three (3) to five (5) year manufacturer warranty as stated on individual product packaging and specifications.
- Commercial / Industrial Applications: If a product is utilized for business, commercial, rental, or industrial applications, the warranty duration is limited to ninety (90) days from the date of initial retail purchase.
- Lifetime Technical Support: Free telephone and email technical support for the lifetime of your generator.
2. Warrantor
This warranty is provided directly by CHONGQING DINKING POWER MACHINERY CO. LTD in conjunction with our authorized nationwide United States service centers and distribution partners.
3. What Is Covered Under Warranty
During the applicable warranty period, Genmax will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any defective component or manufacturing defect without charge for parts or authorized diagnostic labor. Replacement parts are guaranteed to be authentic OEM factory components.
4. What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)
This limited warranty does not cover failures or damages resulting from:
- Normal routine maintenance and consumable wear parts, including but not limited to: motor oil, spark plugs, air filter elements, fuses, starter ropes, or fuel filters.
- Operation with improper, stale, or contaminated fuels (such as E15, E85 flex fuel, or diesel in gasoline models).
- Operation with insufficient, contaminated, or incorrect viscosity engine oil.
- Accident, misuse, neglect, freezing temperatures without proper winterization, or unauthorized modifications.
- Electric starting 12V batteries beyond six (6) months from the purchase date.
- Cosmetic imperfections that do not impair mechanical operation.
5. How to Obtain Warranty Service
To file a warranty claim or request replacement parts under warranty, please follow these steps:
- Locate your original proof of purchase (sales receipt, order number, or invoice).
- Find your generator's Serial Number and Model Number stamped on the data plate on the engine frame.
- Contact our customer support team via email at support@genmax.net with a brief description of the issue and photos or video if applicable.
Our technical team will assess the diagnostic information and dispatch OEM replacement parts or provide instructions for local authorized service depot drop-off.
